It's outlines some of the major cultural events taking place in Manchester during 2011. Their focus as usual is on the art exhibitions, museums, festivals and cultural events of the coming year.
So what does 2011 have in store? Oooh, some good stuff. Manchester International Festival dominates the summer, but before that there’s Mary Kelly at the Whitworth, Anish Kapoor at Manchester Art Gallery, the spectacular re-opening (under a new name) of Manchester Museum’s much-loved Mammals Hall, and a clutch of Northern Quarter-based festivals in May.
